What does "Submitted", "Temporary Failure", "Failed", "Delivered" and "Unsent" mean
| When you send a fax you will receive an email fax with one of the following Fax Out Statuses:
- Submitted - The fax you are sending is received by the FaxFX sending server and it will attempt to send it as soon as possible
- Temporary Failure - There was a problem in the transmission that is out of our control eg: The line was busy, or a fax line was not received, ... The server will retry sending up to six times
NOTE: If the receiving fax machine started receiving, you will be billed. As this is the same as a call being made. So you can be charged even if the fax did not successfully send
- Failed - The fax was not sent, please check the number and try again. In most cases it is followed after the temporary failures, or it failed due to the fax number that was attempted to send to does not exist
- Unsent - The fax failed to send due to either no credits available or due to a conversion error with the document in most cases
