| If you want to transfer your domain from another ISP to us then you need to follow these steps:
- Cancel your domain / account with the other ISP, using their cancellation procedures. They will probably not release your domain without a cancellation request. Make sure all invoices with the old ISP has been paid as well.
- Make sure your domain is paid up. We cannot transfer a domain with outstanding fees at the old ISP.
- Notify the ISP that we, SoftDux will initiate a domain reguest transfer. The email will come from domains@softdux.com. Ask them to approve the domain transfer as soon as it comes through.
- Ask your old ISP to send you the EPP Auth Code and unlock the domain where necessary.
- Once done, order the domain on https://billing.softdux.com/order.php - and choose the domain transfer option. You may need to provide an EPP Auth Code where needed, which you have obtained from the old ISP as above.
Important note for .co.za domain owners:
If you own a .co.za domain, then you need to approve the domain transfer. If your details are on the domain as The Domain Owner (Section 2), The Administrative Contact (Section 4), The Technical Contact then you will get an email requesting whether you want to Accept, or Deny the domain transfer.
You now need to reply to this email, and then either delete the word Deny (if you want to Accept / Approve), or Accept (if you want to Deny / stop) the domain transfer. The email will look as follows:
To: john@mydomain.co.za Reply-To: ticketman@co.za Subject: COZA: TICKET REPLY REQUEST: "mydomain.co.za" on hold for Update
MAGIC C00KIE:390894:36xK1YbGnWNkM:Accept Deny:mydomain.co.za: /\ /||\ || Delete the word 'Accept' or the word 'Deny' ONLY! DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE ON THIS LINE!!!
The domain "mydomain.co.za" is in the pending queue for a Update.
