Help! My website is down

Your website may not necesarely be down, but it may appear down dew to a network or firewall problem on your side.

To see if your website is up, try any of these:

Goto http://www.proxify.com and enter your website URL into the text below below the words "Start surfing anonymously by entering a URL (Web address) below:"
Alternatively, goto http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com and type in your domain name in the search box

IF both these websites show, or report your website to be up, then you have a problem on your side, or your ISP's side. Please check the following:

Do you have enough internet bandwidth (commonly known as CAP) left to access the internet?
Disable all firewalls, popup blockers, phishing filters, etc and try again. IF this fixed the problem, then you need to track it down to one of the above mentioned applications which may block access to your website
Check with your ISP if they have any problems with Internet connection and ask them to test the connection to your website as well.
IF you're experiencing problems accessing your website from the office, then it could be that your IT guys have blocked access to it, or there's a problem on your network. Please ask them if they know what's going on.
