No, users are not allowed to install their own version of phpMyAdmin, and we will not support a 3rd party phpMyAdmin. Furthermore, we cannot support any security, or date corruption related to a self-installed version of phpMyAdmin

Instead, this program is offered through cPanel for you to use. phpMyAdmin is at the bottom of the MySQL Databases section in the cPanel.
