What is the difference between a Parked Domain and an Addon Domain?

A Parked Domain simply parks, or points, a new domain to your current domain.

- For example, if your main domain is http://www.mydomain.co.za, and you park http://www.myotherdomain.co.za on top of it, then both domains will point to the same website.

An Addon Domain, on the other hand, is a fully functional, self-standing domain.

- For example, http://www.mydomain will have it's own website, and http://www.myotherdomain.co.za will have it's own website and there's no connection between the two at all.

PLEASE NOTE:

Both Parked Domains, and Addon Domains will share the same cPanel login details, as well as same web hosting space and features. Each Parked or Addon Domain will also have it's own email account, in addition to your main domain.
